Halloween at the Zoo

Tonight was the first of the Halloween events this season. Simon's scout den was planning on going

to the Louisville Zoo instead of the Haunted Forest at Otter Creek. I thought it was a good choice to make this change due to their age. I thought the forest would be a bit scary. We walked the entire trail and it only took us about 1- 1/2 hours. So that wasn't bad at all. After that we went to Kingfish on the river to eat dinner. Check out their cute costumes. And some of you wouldn't believe what Sydnee said "yes" to. See below and you'll know.

The one thing Simon wouldn't get his picture with was of all things "Batman". He didn't want to have anything to do with him. There were actually quite a few he didn't want to get close too.

Yes, Sydnee went up to a "girly" princess!!! Can you imagine? My girl going up to a "prissy princess"?
