Sydnee's eval done

Sydnee had her appointment with Dr. Ryan and it all went well. It took her about 5 1/2 hours. We had a break for lunch which she loved doing. She told me it was like doing a lot of school work. Mike and I go to Cinci on April 6 for results on both kids. This was Sydnee's first time doing any testing like this. So she wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Ryan is going to refer her to a "rehab doctor" for an evaluation on the tremors she has in her hands and legs. This doctor specializes in neurological type things with adopted kids. So hopefully we'll find out it's just something she'll grow out of. I don't know yet when that appointment is.

Yesterday the kids and I were out in the garden area burning paper. I told them they could tear apart the box it was in and we would burn it too. Well, the discovered if one stood on it and the ohter pulled it, they could ride. It wasn't 10 seconds later when Simon pulled while Sydnee was on it. She fell backwards and hit her head on a concrete block. I can't believe that she didn't bust her head open. But she did get one heck of a goose egg on the back of her head. Poor kid! I felt so bad for her. Simon did too once he realized what really happened.

Tomorrow I leave for retreat. This time it's quilting. So I don't have to take as much stuff with me. I have several quilts I really want to finish this time. Of course it's 2AM right now and I am still doing laundry to get it done before leaving. So I may take a nap as soon as I get there this time.
