Today I went to the Rheumatologist to get more labs drawn. He did an exam and xrays of my hands. They have scheduled me for a bone density since I was due for one anyway. I was there a little over 2 hours. The doctor was extremely nice and very good at answering questions and making sure I understood what he was telling me. I go back in 6 weeks to get lab results and discuss our options.

The kids and I are going to Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. There are several appointments lined up for Monday and Tuesday. I thought it was a good time to schedule them while they are out of school for Spring break. Then we have nearly one appointment a week until Mid May. So I think we will be a little tired of driving up there for a while. Both will go for some intensive therapy during the summer. I don't have the dates yet. Their Neuropsychologist is coming to Louisville to talk to parents, educators, etc. So if you know anyone with Autism, RAD, FAS, FAE, etc., let me know and I will get the information to you. She will be here on May 15 at 1:00PM. We're working on gettng the meeting space at Southeast. It's a great opportunity to get some great information about these disorders. We are excited to have her come speak.

Simon is scheduled for Friday Apri 10 to have ear surgery. He got a busted eardrum a month ago and it has gotten worse instead of better. They are going to go behind the ear and get a piece of tissue to place as a replacement eardrum. Sometimes this has to be done twice. So I pray the first one works. They place a sponge type thing behind the drum to keep the germs cleared out. So he won't have any hearing in his right ear for one month.
