Trip to Cinci today

Last night Simon and I headed up to Cinci during the storms. Well, actually the only part we hit was right at Union KY. We heard sirens and then pulled over. They didn't last long and then we heard some again as we got into Mt Eden in Cinci. As we checked into the hotel, they put us on the 7th floor. I asked her if she put me there so I could get the best angle at a tornado. She just laughed.

The appointment today went well. We went to the Drake Center to meet with Dr. Ryan. She was very nice and pleasant to work with. I met with her while Simon started some testing at 9:00 AM. At 12:15 we took lunch and then he restarted at 1:00 until 2:30. Then we headed home. I worked on paperwork for 3 hours and 20 minutes of that time. My hand was cramping. But I was also completing it for both kids to save time later. Sydnee goes on Monday the 16th for her portion. Simon did very well for most of it. She said he would do well with high fives to keep going until they were done. This will be Sydnee's first time in doing any kind of testing. So I am curious as to what they will report to us. It will be different with the age being older now.

I peeked into Simon's ears tonight to see how they are doing and found that the left ear is now ruptured. He said he can hear just fine and there is no pain. How in the world? I just really thought this would hurt. Good thing I guess, because right now he would be miserable.
