New office

Since I am always driving it seems, I talked Mike into letting me rent an office closer to school. So I now have a small office on Watterson Tr in Jtown just several blocks from the kids school. So isn't it wonderful to have a place that I can attempt to get some things done. I have my computer, sewing machine, a blow up mattress (yes a place to take a nap if I want), small refrigerator and a microwave. It isn't large, or beautiful, but it is clean, has windows, it's warm and I have a nice neighbor across the hall. And he is a tailor. We have offered to help each other out when we need it. I have done lots of alterations in my lifetime, so I can do that with my eyes closed.

I have gone around my house and collected every school paper, newspaper, magazine, receipt, mail, etc and brought it here to sort and either post, file or pitch. So that was a huge task in making me feel like I have accomplished something. I am hoping to start getting some quilts done too. But the paper work getting done if first. I have gotten quite a bit done already. After the first of the year I think I will move some of my Creative Memories supplies there too. It's convenient for people to pick up orders when they need them.
Here is a picture of Simon after moving up and getting his Bobcat award with the cub scouts. He was so proud.

Too cute! We filmed Gavin's bobcat ceremony...I'm pretty sure my camera was out of batteries.
