Halloween

Somehow I have managed to misplace my digital camera charger. Who knows where it is, but I am sure that after today (buying a new one) I will find it somewhere in my scrapbooking boxes or something. But since I didn't get the new one until today, I was using a manual disposable camera all day yesterday. It was killing me. So all of my Halloween photos are on the disposable one. So now I have to wait. I didn't realize how dependent I was to want to see my pictures NOW! Tomorrow we are going to Hubers and knew I would have to have my digital. But I'm ready to go and the batteries are charging.

Last night we went through our neighborhood with the Clarks trick or treating. The kids had a ball. I will post the pictures as soon as they get back. I woke up this morning to see where the kids had lined up a bunch of pieces of candy that they wanted to share with me. They said they felt bad because I wouldn't have any candy. They had laid out a bunch of chocolate for me on my footstool. Two of the pieces were those huge chocolate bars. It was so cute. Then Sydnee turns around and said "Mom I gave you this because I love you so much and you are the best sewer I know". It was so funny. And so unlike her.

Sydnee was the lion from Wizard of Oz and Simon was a cowboy.

They had a great day at their party last school on Friday too.

Angela K wanted to try to get all of the Koenigs together at Hubers tomorrow for dinner. She has worked hard on phone calls, reservations, and just trying to make sure everyone is at the same place at the same time. I am looking forward to it. We haven't been there in a while. I told the kids I would let them get a pumpkin and go to the petting zoo.

Today Mike started working his overtime again. So I guess we'll see him less than we already do. I had told the kids that after he went to work it was going to be time to get those room cleaned up that they were supposed to work on this week. During this time I had decided to move the bird cage to another area. In doing this, I have managed to go from one thing to another. I couldn't stay on task if you paid me I don't think. In the end, I managed to clean, move the furniture in the living room, drag more junk out and around. Then I went back after finding that Simon was basically bribing Sydnee to help clean his room. They were supposed to help each other since they were having such a hard time doing it on their own. Simon had come out to let me know that he had given Sydnee some of his clothes when she could win the contest of "who can pick up the most items". There is something wrong with that picture. She wins because she was picking up more. The next thing you know I am in there helping . I drug stuff out from under the dresser and bed. So now his room is done and Sydnee crammed everything into her closet. I think we all have focus issues.

We still have some kittens available if anyone is interested. The momma cat is 13 mo old (she is very small for her age) and her last female kitten was born on July 24. Then I have a 12 wk old female who belongs to a friend of mine. She is trying to find it a home. She is very lovable and a cuddler.

I don't know why, but your link on my sidebar is moving up when you post, so I hadn't realized that you had. How did the get together at Huber's go?
