Memory Albums

I have two beds left for Saturday night retreat open. Anyone interested? I can't wait to get myself packed up for this weekend. I have about 14 going to Pieceful Haven to scrapbook. Actually one is a quilter. So she'll be quilting instead. One of them is my friend Jill. She hasn't been to one in a while and I am looking forward to her going. She has been a very busy homeschooler over the past few years. Not to mention that she has had a lot of changes in her life over the past 4-5 years. I think she is ready to go as much as I am. We absolutely love this location for a smaller retreat. It's large, cozy and quiet. You really get to know the people you are with. And of course there is a lot of talking going on. I have been going on these retreats at least twice a year for 4 years and 3-4 times a year for a year and then this year we started having about 10-12 a year. That is the only time I really get to work on my albums (and I have a lot of them started). But then again that is my time away and I am able to make some money at the same time. That makes it nice too.

I think these are the only ones I have going. Hopefully I will be organized enough that I can get some work done this weekend and make an accomplishment. And that would make for a very fun weekend.

I am working on one of my Grandmother (Heritage) and hope to have it done by Christmas. Then I have a niece and her husband and a newphew and his wife who all got married. I am hoping to finish theirs by Christmas too. Both are digital so that anyone in their family can have one without me having to make another one. They can just order it. I really like the way the digital ones look. I have considered doing my 2008 album that way too. But still not sure. I guess I had better make up my mind.
