My weekend was wonderful! So relaxing and I got to spend a lot of time with my best friend Jill. She is a wonderful person and I really enjoy being with her and catching up on what we have been missing over the last couple of years. She even followed me home to help me unload my car after we had our traditional dinner after retreat. What a job to volunteer for. If you have ever seen my van when we go to retreats, you would understand. It is full to the ceiling and there isn't an inch to put anything. This time she even put a couple of things in her van to help me out. I can't wait until our next retreat already.

Tonight I am in Cinci with both kids. They are going for med checks. Sydnee's new medicine is working well from what I can tell. I haven't seen her pulling at all. So I am thrilled. Her hair is growing back in too. It's a little thin, but coming back.

We got word about Aunt Toni. She isn't doing well at all. Uncle Jimmy told me he didn't expect her to make it through the week. He said he is doing ok, and right now he is enjoying being with her in a quiet room. His children had been visiting this past weekend along with many other people. So apparently it had been very busy. So I am sure quiet is better. That will give them more time together. I still hate that he is having to go through this though.

I went to the new Joanne's fabric store today. It's very nice. I am glad we have one here in Louisville now too. Although I didn't realize it was a super store. So they have much more than just fabric. The people in there were all very nice too. I got some flannel to make the kids some pj's for Christmas. They will love them. Both of them love to get things I have made.

It is so good to hear your updates Connie. And great to know it was during a reatreat that we reconnected. I can never get enough news about your wonderful family and all that is going on. You are very inspiring and your courage amidst any adversity is heavenly. In fact, the picture of you and Mike at the Hopeful Hearts Fundraiser looks like angels sitting there. You are are the family of the century!!! Thanks for sharing so much!

I will be praying for Toni and Jimmy. Her picture is so lovely with the children!
