This toy is a "Whirly Wheel". You sit on the seat and turn the handles on the wheels from the inside. Kind of like a wheel chair. You have to use your upper body to control most of it. I figured Sydnee would have the easiest time with it because her arms are very strong for her size. Simon doesn't have the upper arm strength that she does which is surprising, because he is so much larger than her. But maybe this will help him. So tonight we got it out and put it all together to see what they can do with it. Well, they both loved it! And it wore them out too.
This game is called Hyper Jump. It looks simple enough. The center is where the commands come from. You can choose different levels and it will also increase the levels as you move up in speed and accuracy. The other pods 2-4 are where you step when it gives out commands. At first it just tells you a color or number to step on. Then it advances to addition and subtraction and number series. It will also tell you to reverse which means to go back to a previously called command. So you have to remember what you just did. So if you want a challenging game for everyone, give this one a try. It sure gets you off the couch!

I have no idea why I am putting these in here, except for the fact that was cropping scanned photos to maybe actually finish the heritage albums in 2009. Here are two of my favorite childhood photos. This one is the first picture in the hospital. I was born at St Elizabeth Hospital in Covington, KY. Needless to say I had plenty of hair. I ended up getting a hair cut because of the heat rash on my neck. Mom said they asked if there was indian in our family because my skin was so red at the time. But, nope! Just plain ole hairy baby.
This is my first grade picture. I remember that jumper I had on. Remember those yarn hair ties? I wonder how many rollers it took to make my hair that wavy? I have never had a natural curl on my head. I look back and see that I had apparently gotten perms from a very early age.
