We got home from school and the kids both did well today. Tonight the kids were eating their dinner and then Sydnee sat in the recliner. She had a tiny little horse charm that she found somewhere. I had told her to take it out of her mouth because she could choke on it. It wasn't a minute later it apparently was in her mouth again. I looked at her and she had a funny look on her face. I asked her what was in her mouth. She wouldn't tell me. Then afte about 5-6 minutes of lieing me to over and over she finally fessed up. Sure enough she just swallowed it. This was after I had already caught her drinking out of the cat water bowl. She loves putting things in her mouth. And it doesn't really matter what it is. Here is a list of something I have caught her with just this week. Catfood, cat water in bowl, raw oats without cooking them, kleenexes, cardboard. The list goes on.

I called the pediatrian and he told me to take her to the hospital. So I packed up Simon to go to Mom's while I was gone. I knew it was getting close to bedtime, so that wouldn't be a good idea to take him with me. My concern was that it would get lodged. If it would have been something like a coin or someting I would probably have just waited for it to pass on through. But this had little legs on it. Well as you can see the horse is as plain as day on the right side. I was in her stomach already. So at 10:45 pm we were back home and she was tired. Hopefully having the doctors tell her to stop swallowing things that aren't food will get through to her. She certainly doesn't listen to me.
