Weekend is nearly here!

I have been back at my office this week which I really enjoy. I feel like I am getting so many things done. Today I worked on some reports I wanted to get done. Afterwards I had to run Mike's computer to the computer repair place then pick up the kids form school.

I have a lot of packing to do before Friday morning. And I finally got child care lined up. My usual sitter wasn't going to be able to watch them. So I called Angela our niece to see if she could pick up the kids from school. She will watch them on Fri/Sun. But I was still was hurting. I needed someone for Saturday only. I broke down and asked Mom if she could take one of them and Mike's cousin was taking another. So it worked out. Although I think Simon ended up wearing out Grandma in the end. 24 hours is a long time for him to be there.

I got to retreat on Friday and stayed until last night. We had a great time and people were asking to sign up for future retreats, so it looks like they all had fun. The food at this facility is wonderful!

Apparently while I was gone, Simon ended up having a hard time after Dad came to pick him up on Saturday evening. Mom said Simon had woke up at 3am Sat morning (which is extremely different for him). So that meant she didn't get good sleep and that made her completely off trying to make it through the day. Simon also told me it bothered him that there was a painter at Grandma's. That painter was my brother. But he really doesn't know my brother well. So he had no clue.

Today school called me to let me know that Simon told the teacher he was tired. She offered to let him lay down on the mat and he fell asleep. Then he moved to the sponge room later and fell asleep in there too. When they called me it was 11am and he had basically slept all morning. Then I picked him up and took him to my office with me and fell asleep for a little over 2 hours there. I took him to the doctor just to make sure nothing was wrong. They ran blood for strep and Mono. Both tests were negative. So I have no clue what is going on with him right now. I will take him back tomorrow and see how his day goes.

Both kids started basketball tonight. They absolutely loved it. Now the next big thing is going to Paoli Peaks on Friday. Simons scout troop is going and Sydnee and I will also go. They will get a 1 hour snowboard lesson and then we will all go tubing. That sounds like a lot of fun. So, we'll see how it goes.
