When do the kids go back to school!!!!???

I can't wait for Tuesday. School will back in session and it will be quiet during the day once again. I haven't done much of anything this week, although there was plenty to do. The kids and I have played some of their new games and of course we are learning their Wii. We have bowled, played baseball, golf, mine cart and they have played even more. Simon has been kicking my butt in bowling.



Now it is time to get the Christmas decorations down and laundry caught up. With Mike working 6am to 6pm right now I have actually been cooking more. Although he has surprised me and we have been out twice. Trust me that is a lot for him. He isn't a big fan of eating out. And truthfully the kids and I eat out way too much. So it really has been nice eating at home. I was starting to forget how to use the stove I think.



I went to Mom's today to pick up a box. My brother is painting her house right now and it really looks great. She kept debating what color and she finally decided on a green. It really looks nice. The trim was always a natural wood and now it's white. It feels so different when you walk in. I can't wait to see it when he's done. And I am sure she can't wait to get it done too. I know she was getting excited about him getting it started.



We got the results of Sydnee's MRI of the brain. It came out fine and she is now scheduled for a MRI of the spine on Jan 20. When I told her when we were going back, she just laughed and said "just get the IV". At least this time they won't go through her trying to go in without sedation.
