Kings Island

In July Sydnee had a swim party as a kick off to her American Heritage Girls. She loves the water, so needless to say this is a ball for her. It's also where she took her swim test and passed. So this was thrilling.

Anyway while there someone was passing out $19.95 Kings Island coupons that were only good for a week or so. One of the other mom's Lisa mentioned that her daughter has always wanted to go there. My kids really didn't know much about it just because we had been waiting for Sydnee to grow a couple of more inches. She gets so upset because they won't let her ride larger rides because of her height. The next thing you know we are planning a Kings Island trip for Monday (it was Thurs or Fri at the time). We didn't tell the kids until Monday morning. So that was a nice surprise. Sydnee was so determined to hug some of the characters because we told the kids we can't go to Disney until they aren't afraid of the characters. So she is working hard on it.

Another last minute trip went well.
