My friend Suanne had asked me a couple of days ago to see if we were interested in ringing the bell for the salvation army at Sams. I jumped at it because this particular year the kids have gotten into the "red kettle" for some reason. They love it. So this would be a great opportunity. Not to mention they will get service hours for scouts. I thought this was great. It was only for an hour. We dressed warm and it worked out well. I think Simon liked handing out the candy canes,
