Soldiers

Last night Mike and I were sitting watching TV. Simon will ocassionally play by himself, but for the most part he will want to have someone entertain him. But last night he got out the very tiny tanks and soldiers that Mike used to play with when he was little. He had them all arranged on the rug and was just pretending like crazy. It was fun to watch him. I enjoyed it because he was using his imagination and working with them so closely.

Today I found the kids weren't just playing outside in the backyard, but in the garage attic. That scared me. Anything could have happened. It's nearly 10 ft up there. They could have fallen off the ladder or out of the floored area. They were calling it their fort. Yikes!

Mike started working his 6am to 6pm days. He'll be doing that 7 days a week. So if I thought he wasn't around before, he sure won't be now.

Today I got most of the laundry done and worked on the kids bedrooms. They were a mess, but are much better now. I was trying to figure out a way for them to want to get rid of some things. Actually they did pretty good. Sydnee actually told me there were just too many toys in her room. So she might be too tough after all.

The kids have their Breakfast with Santa tomorrow during school. I will be helping with the breakfast part. The kids will do their shopping there and have breakfast and pictures with Santa . They are going to have so much fun doing that.
